A Calyptus operation rewarded by EnterNext for the second year running.
Following the 2014 Best IPO award for McPhy Energy, EnterNext has just awarded Parrot the 2015 Best Financial Transaction prize for Parrot’s €300 million capital increase.
On February 19, 2016, at the stock market’s annual conference, Euronext awarded Parrot the prize for the best financial operation 2015 for its €300m capital increase, the largest fundraising in recent years for a tech ETI.
Calyptus, the financial and corporate communications agency, supported Parrot at a very early stage, helping it for over a year to explain and promote its repositioning in the drone market to the financial community. Calyptus then took charge of communicaiton for the operation, from preparation with the advisory banks to management of the advertising campaign during the placement period.
Calyptus handled relations with the economic and financial press, and set up a telephone hotline for individual shareholders to explain the characteristics of the issue of ABSAs with preferential subscription rights.
This communication campaign resulted in a 98.7% exercise rate for preferential subscription rights, which is also a record for this type of transaction. Including reducible orders, total demand amounted to €426 million.
Following on from McPhy Energy’s IPO in 2014, which won the EnterNext Best IPO award, Calyptus is again contributing this year to an emblematic success in smallcap fundraising.
